First Security State Bank’s Role in the Evansdale, Cedar Falls, and Surrounding Communities
As a community bank serving Evansdale, Cedar Falls and the Cedar Valley, First Security State Bank enjoys being able to give back to our communities and help them grow. We are members of:

In addition, First Security State Bank regularly sponsors concerts at Poyner Elementary School, offering cookies and juice as refreshments. We also incorporate Blue Jeans Fridays, a fundraiser where employees make a contribution to a local organization in order to wear jeans on various Fridays throughout the year.
The staff at First Security State Bank continues the same commitment we’ve had to our communities since we were first chartered in 1962. Some of the organizations our staff members are involved in include the Waverly Airport Commission and the Boys and Girls Club.
